At Seymour Behavioral Health Solutions, you will be seen by a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in both medication management and DBT services. For those with financial hardship, a scholarship program is available. SBHS provides detailed receipts for submission to insurance companies for reimbursement.  SBHS accepts the following forms of payment:

We offer care in person, via phone, and telehealth appointments.

SBHS does not provide emergency or crisis care.  For those needing immediate care and interventions, please go to the nearest Emergency Department or call 911.

Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation and Treatment Recommendations

$275 (90 minutes), $225 (60 minutes)

Initial diagnostic evaluation consists of a 90 minute face-to-face visit.  Please email or call the office to request an appointment. Once scheduled an email invitation to a secure patient portal will be sent. You will be asked to complete screening forms and consents prior to your appointment. If you or your child is determined to be acutely suicidal or self injurious at their initial visit, you will be referred to the emergency department for immediate, same-day treatment.  Recommendations may include individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, medical evaluation, lab work, dietary interventions, Mindfulness interventions, exercise or referral to another provider, whatever is indicated.  Dr. Seymour does not provide on-call services or emergency care after business hours. 

Medication Management

$200 (50 minutes), $150 (30 Minutes), $75 (15 Minutes)

If you or your child are prescribed or taking medication(s) for a mental health condition, regular medication management visits are necessary for continued prescription.  Medications being titrated up or down necessitate monthly visits.  When stability on medications is achieved, visits may be scheduled quarterly.  Duration of 60, 45, or 30 minutes are available based on client/family preference.

Individual  DBT Therapy

$150 (50 minutes), $75 (30 minutes), $50 (15 minutes)

Dr. Seymour specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the evidenced based therapy indicated for the treatment of chronic emotional dysregulation, depression, non-suicidal self injury and suicidal thoughts and behaviors.  If DBT is recommended,  orientation to DBT therapy will be scheduled. Other available therapies include DBT-PE (Exposure Based Trauma Therapy),  Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. Individual therapy sessions are 60 minutes long.  In person or online sessions are available.
 

DBT Group Therapy

$80 (90 Minutes)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy includes weekly group therapy.  Dr. Seymour conducts weekly DBT group skills training for adolescents and young adults.   Adolescent groups are scheduled in the evenings between 5:30 and 7:30 pm.  Young adult groups are scheduled during the day from 11:30-1:30 pm.  Groups are limited to 10 participants and continue for 32 weeks. 

DBT Family Group Therapy

$150 (2 hours)

DBT family therapy assists family members attending DBT skills group to apply DBT strategies to their individual family dynamics and situations with goals of decreasing conflict, improving communication and enhancing close and loving relationships.  Interventions are based on DBT family work by Dr. Alan Fruzetti, the foremost authority on DBT family therapy.

Populations

SBHS sees patients through the lifespan. Patients older than 60 will be referred to a geriatric psychiatric specialist.

 

Siblings of current patients receive a 15% discount.
